Hey, I’m Alessandro. I like building things, breaking them, and figuring out why they broke. I maintain a few open source projects, and dive way too deep into anything involving networking or distributed systems.

These days I’m a Sales Engineer at Vercel. Before that I spent close to a decade at Microsoft working on Azure and developer tools like VS Code. Along the way I’ve picked up a habit of turning half-finished side projects into open source repos.

When I’m not working, I’m usually messing around in my homelab, testing hardware I definitely don’t need, or planning trips I’ll end up documenting just for fun.
